COMMUNITY RULES
Last updated: 22 October 2026 · These rules are part of the Terms of Use (§ 5). See also Privacy & Cookies.
Dragos.xyz is a community for adults aged 18 and over: chat, Self-Disclosure, diary pages, news, reviews and games. These rules say in plain words what is and is not allowed. They apply everywhere on the site — public posts, comments, reviews, profile photos and “about me”, chat messages, private messages, voice recordings, pictures, videos and files.
Any language is welcome. Write or speak in English, Romanian or any other language — the same rules apply in every language.
1. BE DECENT
- Disagree with ideas, not with people. No insults aimed at someone, no bullying, no threats.
- Quote fairly. When you answer someone with a quote, quote their real words and answer what they meant — do not cut them so they seem to say something else. Do not use quotes or @mentions to mock, pile on or keep going after someone who asked you to stop.
- No hate: nothing that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.
- No harassment: do not follow someone around the site, keep messaging someone who asked you to stop, or encourage others to target a person.
2. NOTHING ILLEGAL
- Do not post, share or link anything that is illegal, or that promotes or helps with crime, terrorism or violence.
- Never anything that sexualises a child. We remove it at once, close the account and report it to the police or the relevant authority.
- No selling or sharing of drugs, weapons, stolen data, pirated software, cracks or cheats for sale.
3. SEXUAL AND VIOLENT CONTENT
- No sexually explicit pictures, videos or recordings.
- No gore or real violence shared to shock.
- Do not encourage self-harm or suicide. If you are struggling, you can talk about it — and if someone is in immediate danger, call the emergency services (112 / 999).
4. RESPECT PRIVACY
- Do not share other people's personal details: address, phone number, email, workplace, private photos or messages.
- Do not record, photograph or publish anyone without their consent — this includes voices that can be heard in your recordings.
- Private messages are private between you and the other member: do not publish them without their consent. To report one, use REPORT (see § 9).
- Respect pen names and Anonymous pages. Do not try to find out, guess or reveal who is behind them — not in a quote, a reply, the chat or anywhere else.
5. NO SPAM, SCAMS OR MALWARE
- No spam, junk, chain messages or flooding the chat.
- No phishing, fake login pages, scam offers, “free money” or crypto giveaways, or links to malware.
- No advertising without our permission.
6. BE YOURSELF
- Do not pretend to be another person, a moderator, the administrator or an organisation.
- Do not create accounts to get around a mute or a ban.
- An account the administrator made for you is for you only. Do not share it or its password, and change the password after you first sign in.
- Do not try to break, overload, scrape or bypass the site's security, limits or moderation.
- Count honestly. In a Stock Control count, write what you really counted — by date and variant — and do not mark a count completed, or approve one, that you have not checked.
7. OTHER PEOPLE'S WORK
- Only post text, pictures, music, videos and files you made or have the right to share.
- Copyright owners can use Contact → Copyright claim.
8. IN THE CHAT
- Anyone can read the public chat; only members can write. Messages are limited to 500 characters.
- Chat messages, including private messages, are logged for moderation and kept for up to 12 months — see Privacy.
- Moderators can delete messages and mute or ban members who break these rules.
9. REPORTING
If something breaks these rules, report it — it takes two clicks:
- the REPORT button (shield) next to SHARE, on every page — for the page, or a picture, video, recording, comment or the author on it;
- Report in the chat menu (✎) of a message, its picture or file, or a member's profile;
- REPORT in the footer, for anything else.
Choose a reason, add a few words if you like, and send. We aim to review reports within 24 hours; reports about illegal content or a child at risk are handled first. The person you report is never told who reported them.
10. WHAT WE DO
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove the content (a single page, or a whole Diary Book with all its pages), warn you, mute you in the chat, stop you posting, ban you or close your account. Serious illegal content is reported to the police or the relevant authority. We do not have to warn you first where the law or safety requires us to act at once.
11. APPEALS
If we removed your content or muted, banned or closed your account and you think we got it wrong, you can appeal within 14 days of the decision through Contact → Appeal a decision. Tell us what was removed or what happened, when, and why you think the decision was wrong. We will look at it again and tell you the outcome.
Questions about these rules can be sent through the Contact page.
